The interiors designed by NLM
DESIGN INTERIORS possess a wide range of classic design influences from the
traditional to the contemporary; each bearing the unique reflection of the
individual client. Recently Nancy was a featured designer at the 2008 Historic
Twin Maples Designer showhouse in Summit New Jersey, where she designed the
wine cellar; “greening” it and incorporating/providing a wide variety of design
elements including custom furniture, artwork, architectural mouldings, and lighting creating a fabulous lounge
for entertaining and imbibing.
In
2007 and 2008 NLM Design Interiors also participated in the annual Jacobus
Vanderveer House Colonial Christmas in Bedminster New Jersey, designing an
historically relevant and accurate recreation of General Henry Knox’s office
during the Revolutionary War. NLM
Design Interiors, has been highlighted in publications such as New Jersey
Life, NJ Monthly, The Summit Collection, and Design
NJ.. Most recent work
has been featured and published by noted book publisher, Schiffer books,: “Showhouses: A Decorator’s Tour.”
In 2001 Nancy Mikulich was honored
by the Northern California chapter of ASID and Lutron for her energy efficient
lighting design. In 2005
Nancy opened her practice in New Jersey and has worked with her clients on a
variety of residential projects throughout North and Central New Jersey.

Nancy L Mikulich, BA, IDS, IFDA is an honors graduate from the
State University of NY/Purchase, with further education toward
FIDER certification as an interior designer. She is a former Board member of the NJ chapter of the Interior Design Society and
has received recognition from ASID for energy efficient lighting
design.
